Rhysical Pheck – Album Launch

Rhysical Pheck finally launched their album 'The Little People Album' last Sunday at the New Poacher's Pocket in Ballasalla. Thanks to all who attended, hope you all had an enjoyable day out, was great to see such a nice atmosphere and all the kids made the event one to remember :-) Keep an eye on the site for more details, downloadable live tracks and pictures, all coming soon.

One of our team has been moonlighting!

News from Safetyword

"Things here are good. Our first gig is on Tuesday at the Louisiana supporting a pretty f#ckn good local band called The New Rhodes. They sound like a cross between the Strokes and Blondie and will probably blow us off stage with one sweep of their skinny ties. We're looking forward to it though. Should be good to watch a load of strangers trying to tap their feet to 'Flesh Gallery'."

Derrero sadly no more :-(

Just heard from Derrero that they have finally split up, sad news. Still, they leave behind a fine legacy of music and memories. Andy and Dave from the band are now playing in a band called Cymbient, Sion (the stand in guitarist from 'Murry the Hump' who played the gig over here) is now playing in a band called 'The Keys' and Mary is doing some singing for her partner Martin Carr's (ex Boo Radleys songwriter) band 'Brave Captain', so good to see they are all still playing, definitely means that (for me at least) 'Comb the Breaks' becomes one of the great 'lost albums'.

Rhysical Pheck & Cohiba Live in Douglas

July 8th @ The Office, Douglas
8P.M. 'til late
Rhysical Pheck and Cohiba will both be playing live, with music throughout the night provided by Ballagroove DJ's. I think it's free to get in but I'll check and post an update here.
This is Rhysical Pheck's first gig in Douglas, not bad for a band that's been together 5 years!
