New promoters Dark Horse Promotions are pleased to announce details of their first live event.

ALL proceeds from ticket sales will be donated to the Isle of Man Children’s Centre.

“Joe Driscoll is the man Cee-Lo Green labelled ‘The gangsta with an iron lung’ and seeing him live I know exactly what he means,” Barry tells us. “I first saw Joe Driscoll perform at the Green Man festival in the Chai Wallahs tent a few years ago. He absolutely blew me away and the crowd was instantly taken by his amazing looping and beatbox skills!”

Ballagroove DJs will be supporting ace new local band Dusty Plankton at Jaberwocky in Douglas on Friday 24th February

Its FREE to get in, starts at 8pm, we are DJing from 8pm till 10pm, then the band are on, then top DJ action from Darren Millar into the early hours, did I mention its FREE

“After a couple of months since our last gig, we thought it was time to climb out of the sea for another gig.

“Since we last left you Alan has been knitting jumpers, Tony has been running up and down hills and I have been mostly collecting stamps so we have been moderately busy.

“We are proud to announce that as well as being joined by the fabulous DeeDee (our very own Burlesque performer) we will be joined on the decks by Ballagroove head honcho and all round good guy Gypo, he will be spinning the warm up set with fellow tag team Dj of Funk and all things nice, Toots. following Dusty’s live set, we will be graced by our very own tour Dj, Darren Millar whose electronic funk filled grooves will see you to the end of play

“We will be kicking off at 8pm and Dusty Plankton will be on stage about 10pm, oh and its FREE entry too
